What I do

Three ways I can help

Every session starts with a short chat about what's bothering you and what you need your body to do. From there the work is tailored — firm and specific, or slow and settling, depending on what you're after.

Remedial Massage

For the stubborn stuff — tight necks and shoulders from desk work, low back pain, sore hips and legs, restricted movement, old niggles that never quite settled. I work through the tissue that's causing the problem and give you a couple of simple things to do between sessions.

  • Neck, shoulder & upper back tension
  • Lower back and hip tightness
  • Sports and training loads
  • Postural and desk-related pain

60 min $100  ·  30 min $65

Relaxation Massage

A full hour of flowing, even-pressure work designed to take the edge off. No deep digging, no talking if you don't feel like it — just a quiet room, warm oil and enough time to actually switch off before you head back into the week.

  • Stress and general tension
  • Trouble winding down or sleeping
  • A reset after a heavy week
  • Gift for someone who never stops

60 min $100

Sports Taping

Rigid and supportive taping for ankles, knees, shoulders and wrists — before a game, through a niggle, or while something is settling down. Add it to the end of a massage, or book it on its own if that's all you need.

  • Game-day and training support
  • Ankles, knees, shoulders, wrists
  • Add-on to any session
  • Standalone appointments available

Mobile service

I'll bring the table to you

Not everyone can get to a clinic — new parents, shift workers, farmers mid-season, anyone whose back is bad enough that driving is the last thing they want to do. For those days, I load the table, oils and towels into the car and come to your home or workplace.

All you need is a quiet space roughly two metres by three, and a power point isn't necessary. Same treatment, same time, same price.

About

Hi, I'm Troy.

I'm a qualified remedial massage therapist based in Albury, and My Massage Guy is my own practice.

The way I work is simple. We start with a proper conversation — where it hurts, what you do all day, what you've already tried. Then I treat what's actually driving the problem rather than just chasing the sore spot, and I'll tell you honestly if I think you need to see someone else instead.

You'll never be rushed out the door, and you'll always leave knowing what we did and what to do next. That's the whole idea behind the name on the sign: helping you move better and feel better.

FAQ

Good questions

Anything here not covered? A quick call sorts it out faster than an email.

Call 0437 679 615
Where is the clinic?

1 Hayden Way, Glenroy NSW 2640 — a few minutes from central Albury, with parking right out the front. If getting there is the problem, I also travel to you across Albury, Wodonga, Wangaratta and the surrounding areas.

What's the difference between remedial and relaxation massage?

Remedial is problem-solving: firmer, more specific, aimed at a particular area or restriction. Relaxation is a flowing full-body session at an even pressure, designed to calm your nervous system down. If you're not sure which you need, book remedial and we'll work it out in the first five minutes.

Should I book 30 or 60 minutes?

Thirty minutes suits one focused area — a neck, a low back, a calf. If there's more than one thing bothering you, or it's your first visit, take the hour so there's time to assess properly and still do the work.

Will it hurt?

Remedial work can be firm, but it should never be something you have to brace through. I check in as we go and adjust — you're in charge of the pressure, always.

What do I need for a mobile appointment?

A quiet space about two metres by three, and somewhere to leave your clothes. I bring the table, linen, towels and oils. Ground floor is easiest, but stairs are fine — just mention it when you book.

How do I pay?

Payment is taken at the end of your appointment. Let me know if you'd like a receipt emailed through.

What if I need to reschedule?

Life happens — just give me as much notice as you can and we'll find another time. A quick call or text is the fastest way to reach me.
